Bad news came to the public accounts holders



On one hand, the Janan Yojana is being vigorously promoted by the government. But the reality is ringing. The government said in a statement on Thursday that 50 lakh generic accounts have been closed by 20 December 2017. Uttar Pradesh is at the forefront.

Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of public accounts closed. Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan are ranked number one, respectively. 31 crore accounts were opened in the bank under Janshan Yojana. Out of which 24.64 crore accounting was done in the country. According to the data, 9.62 lakh accounts have been closed in Uttar Pradesh. 4.44 lakh accounts in Madhya Pradesh have been closed. 4.19 lakh in Gujarat, 3.55 lakh in Tamil Nadu, 3.11 lakh in Rajasthan, 3 lakh in Maharashtra and 2.90 lakh in Bihar. In addition, 2.28 lakh in Punjab, 2.23 lakh in West Bengal and 1.65 lakh generic accounts in Delhi have been closed
