The government has cut basic excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 2 per litre, with effect from October 4, 2017, after an outcry over hiked fuel prices despite the low global rate of crude oil. The Opposition, as well as the social media, had been awash with angry sentiments on the fuel price hike, which, along with woes induced by GST and demonetisation, has affected the ordinary Indian on the streets deeply.

There is a need to reduce petrol and diesel prices by Rs 4-5 per litre, the official said. "Rs 65 per litre is an acceptable retail selling price for petrol,’ the official added. Government officials indicate that a price cut of Rs 5 per litre on petrol and diesel is likely."

How much is the petrol in the tank? This unique device will let you know in mobile

Auto Dash: No Scam on Patrol and Diesel Pumps For this, PhD students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering have searched for a special type of device (Fuel Quantifier). It can be installed in a car or a bike tank. The noodle of the petrol-diesel pump machine, inside the device, will go into the tank. Which will soon be able to know the actual amount of diesel and petrol in the tank. The cost of making this device is only Rs 1500 to 2000 rupees. The organization is patenting this search.
Creating Device to Test Quality
IIT experts are making a device to get information about the confusion in petrol and diesel. It has been named Fuel Quantifier Advance. The device has been verified in the lab. The process of patenting it is currently underway.
This device is shaped like a cone
The device has been shaped like a cone. It can be easily tuned in the tank. Organizational experts say that the circuit can be connected to a Bluetooth device or later WiFi. A small battery is also provided in the circuit. Readings come in very little time on mobile screens. You can also apply a screen dashboard separately. Researchers say that it is also ready to launch an app for this.
Preparation of startup
IIT specialist is preparing for startup using a device. There is also a plan to open a company for this. Gargagram is in talks with a car company. The company has also made a survey of the device.

Good news: petrol will get 45 rupees per liter in the new year

New Delhi (Best Hindu News): 1 liter petrol in the current time of 45 rupees may not believe it but in the new year you can give this gift to the government. A government decision can give you cheap petrol and diesel up to Rs 25. Veerwar is getting a liter of petrol in Delhi for Rs 69.81. At the same time, diesel is priced at Rs 59.47. In the new year, the government can release you from rising crude oil prices. It can bring gasoline and diesel under GST.

Under GST, it is also considered fixed because Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan have indicated this. Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has recommended to bring them under GST to get rid of the rising prices of petrol and diesel. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley also said that after the consent of all states it can be done in GST. After coming under the GST, tax on petrol and diesel can be increased to as much as 28 per cent. In such a situation, petrol and diesel can be much cheaper than current prices. Firstly, understand how you get a liter petrol for Rs 69 currently. According to the ongoing paid-up price details of Indian Oil Company, after the purchase of crude oil and refinery, the company sells a liter petrol for Rs 31.78. After this dealer commissioned (average) 3. 58 bucks are added. The center charges an excise duty of 19.48 rupees on a liter petrol. 14.81 VAT is charged in Delhi After mixing them all, you have to pay Rs. 69.65 for 1 liter of petrol.

Companies charge Rs 31.78 from dealers for one liter of petrol. In this, the commissioner commission of Rs 3.58 is added to the commission. So, the price of one liter petrol goes up to 35.36. Under GST, tax of 28 percent can be taxed instead of VAT and excise duty. On account of 28 percent tax, it will add 9.90 rupees to 35.36 rupees. In this way, one liter petrol may have to pay 45.26 paise. At present, companies sell dealers for a liter of diesel at 32.61 rupees. In this, the dealer commission adds Rs 2.52. In this way a liter diesel becomes 35.13. After getting 28 percent tax, 9.83 paise will be added. In this case, a liter diesel will be available for Rs 44.96.

After coming under GST, the prices of crude oil prices will increase and decrease will be seen on petrol and diesel prices. However, this will not change their prices at a bigger level because the tax on this will be fixed. Although the government can cede with 28 per cent tax, but the prices of petrol and diesel will still be lower than the current prices.
