Employees will get 3% DA payable from last July. In addition to government employees, thousands of pensioners from the state government will also benefit from it. Although the state government's treasure may be empty, the new government does not want to deprive employees of their financial benefits. That is the reason why the government has decided to give dearness allowance for the employees as soon as the government takes charge. Not only this, the installment of dearness allowance will also be issued to pensioners. While addressing the employees, Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said that the employees of the state government will be deployed on 1st July, Three percent dearness allowance will be provided from 2017. The dearness allowance will be provided with the salary of January, 2018, Which will be payable on first February. He said that the dearness allowance of three percent dearness allowance will also be provided to the state government pensioners. An additional financial burden of about 180 crore rupees annually will be borne by this. Jayaram Thakur said that he has assumed the charge of CM and even now he does not even know whether there is anything to give him or her. He said that in spite of this, the government will release the dearness allowance due to the employees. This announcement of Chief Minister spread the happiness of employees.
