The launch of a scheme of income of Rs. 8000 per month for the youth of Gujarat



The Chief Minister, Gramodaya Yojana, has been implemented in the year 2018-19 to provide financial assistance to the women for the empowerment of women in the state by giving them the benefit of state government and central government schemes by involving themselves in self-help groups. Under this scheme, in the state of Gujarat, it has been decided to undertake intensive efforts of 5 lakh families / women beneficiaries and the minimum monthly household income of Rs.8000 / - for the youth.

In order to take the women / youth towards the economic empowerment in the Gramoday Yojana, they are tied up with the nominated financial institutions / non-governmental organizations with anchor industry from the beginning. The main purpose of this scheme is to provide self-help groups, Joint liability groups and Joint Loyalty Earnings and Savings groups and personally benefit the youth and women.

Five models are included in this scheme structure, in which ...
Manufacturer-induced model - to include self-help groups, joint liability groups and joint luxury elf and savings groups to increase their production by removing all the industrial links in the field of industrial manufacturers as an anchor.
Buyer-induced model-processor, exporting merchant, wholesale merchandise etc., by adding them as an anchor, and preparing their required items as self-help groups and joint liability groups.
Intermediary induced model - Livelihood organizations, development agencies, government / semi-government organizations, self-help groups and joint liability groups will be provided with livelihood.
Financial Institutions Inspired Model - Financial Institutions such as Banks, Insurance Company, etc., from the first pair with self-help group and Joint liability group, give them necessary training and bring them into the formal sector.
Community-inspired model - To provide basic services and facilities to the community, self-help groups and joint liability groups will be provided employment through this model.

In this scheme, the state government has provided financial provision of Rs.60 crores for the year 2018-19, of which 96% will be used for the scheme and 4% will be utilized in administrative expenses. This project was developed by Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Ltd. Will be implemented through their district level structure.

It is notable that here on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the establishment of the state of Gujarat, Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Ltd. has been set up under the Gujarat government for the purpose of empowering women in the state and improving the standard of living of the poor and human resource (HDI), per capital
